mother country?

What brings me back?

Well, i have moved overseas (england), and despite knowing a couple of people, i am finding that without family to rant and rave to, i am without anyone to hear. What else is the average blog for, but for the average person to feel listened to?

Have moved over to do the stereotypical aussie moves overseas to work/holiday.

feels good to be back! i can feel my homesickness lifting already 🙂

i’m back (again)

i think this is the second time i have restarted this blog.

things i like about work

it seems i am always whinging about work in some form, so here is my ‘glass is half full’ entry.

things i like about work:

  • my clients

  • my colleagues

  • autonomy

  • not being stuck at a desk all day

  • working in mental health

  • constantly learning

  • doctors who (mostly) trust case managers

  • excellent supervision

  • fantastic OT dept

  • being permanent

 there should be more…

bits and pieces

i’ve decided that anyone, who’s house is always neat and clean and organised, everytime i visit has an anxiety disorder of some sort. the monster of clothes and papers and folders and letters and dust that lives on my floor is actually an indication of how healthy i am.

i am loving my new dress!

new (new) obsession: david tennant

handy find: leave in conditioner

looking forward to: holidays

cant believe how enthralled i was in this book: the autobiography of malcolm x. i would absolutely recommend it to anyone. i didnt want it to end, yet i couldnt stop reading.

new favourite condiment (?): hoummus/hummus
